This loft bed measures 75 inches in height, by 57 ½" wide, by 81" long with 56 inches clearance below. The Full Size Tall Loft Bed can easily accommodate an adult seated at a desk below and adult weight on the bed. Includes additional instructions to convert to a bunk bed. It works really well in a room with 8 foot ceilings. It uses widely available easy to obtain materials and a standard full (double) size mattress but can be modified easily to hold extra long mattresses that are commonly available. You can build it even if you have little or no woodworking experience using a circular saw, an electric drill, a power sander and a few hand tools. By purchasing our bunk bed plans or loft bed plans you can build your own Loft Bed or Loft Beds saving hundreds of dollars and still have a good quality solid sturdy bed like those built by Bunk Beds Unlimited. The hardware kit includes all bolts, screws needed to complete the loft or bunk bed. Additional hardware such as wooden drawer handles and heavy-duty carpet casters for the storage drawers is available by ordering the bed and drawers hardware kit. (Please note that lumber is not included.) Our hardware kits are higher quality, much more convenient and usually a better price than if you purchase the items at your local home center. Price includes shipping on hardware kits to all 50 United States (others write for details). Great value.

These plans are awesome! Easy to read and follow...if you are able to follow directions, use some hand tools(circular saw, power drill, and a hand sander are a must in my opinion) you'll be able to complete this bed in a few days! My son loves it!
Oh and be sure to buy the hardware offered, it looks much better and is actually less expensive then at a big box store

I spoke with a representative at your company immediately after placing this order because I accidentally ordered the plans and kit for the standard height FULL size loft bed. I meant to order the standard height TWIN size loft bed plans and kit.
I was told that the kit was the same for either and she would e-mail me the plans for the TWIN loft.
Great customer service!

Hi...My step daughter was moving to an apt in New York City and sharing an 11 x 8 room. she wanted to take her full sized bed from home and expected to fit her dresser and desk plus her roommates bed in the room...I don't think so. We came up with the idea of a full-sized loft bed - she was tired of the twin beds in college. I have to admit, we went to Ikea first. They were out of every single loft. This was a Sunday and my step-daughter was coming one week later to pick up her things and move...not much time. Well, I went on-line and found your instructions with the statement that little or no woodworking experience was needed. So, Tuesday night I downloaded the instructions, bought the wood on Wednesday and got to work. We cut, sanded (the worst part, even with an electric sander), stained, varnished, drilled, screwed and by the time she arrived on Sunday morning we had a completed and beautiful full-sized loft bed. My husband and I have virtually no experience building anything. But we were able to make the bed - just like your instructions stated. It looked great and she was very excited. My husband and I were so excited to see the bed all together that we went along to NYC and helped her and her friends carry this bed up four flights of stairs. The only assembled pieces were the end ladders, the rest she was going to assemble on her own. But we wanted to see our project through. WOW! It looked great, if I do say so myself. Thank you for your wonderdul and detailed instructions. It made the job very doable - I want to build another but not under such pressure for time.
